And if you go for Folk / Traditional type music - here's some of the
best I've ever heard Robin and Brenda Geard's "Wyvern Dance Band"
What a turn on! All go from start to finish a REAL Country band. Accordions,
singing, Fiddles, Banjo etc. and the best Midi bass I've ever heard.

Dear Robin and Brenda
Alan and I would both like to say a hearty thank you for playing, singing, and dancing at our
25th Wedding Anniversary celebration on the 19th November this year. You are a special band with
very special people. Everybody commented on the lovely, lively entertainment that you provided.
We would not hesitate in recommending you, please send our kindest regards to the other members
of the band. We wanted to have some fun at our celebration and you provided it. Thank you once

Dear Brenda & Robin, Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed the barn dance section
of our wedding reception at Wokefield Park.Gemma and I were both
really impressed with the quality of the music and the great leadership! Thank you so much
for being flexible with the timings. From where we stood (and danced!), it was clear that
everybody very much enjoyed giving it a go!Thanks again. We had
a fantastic day.

Dear Robin and Brenda
Thank you and your band so much for leading such a wonderful barn dance for our church family
on Saturday. Everyone had a fantastic time and I just wanted to pass on the many complements I
received for your music and calling. We shall certainly be recommending you to others.
God Bless and kind regards

Dear Brenda & Robin,
Thank you for the donation of £800 to 'Jacksplace@naomihouse' which was raised
at the ceilidh on New Year's Eve 2008. Your support is much appreciated by all the staff
and families who make use of the hospice facilities.
I very much look forward to working with you again in the future and if I can help in any way,
please don't hesitate to call. Once again, thank you for your donation and on behalf of
everyone at Naomi House, may I wish you a happy 2009.
When contacting Brenda or Robin with a booking enquiry it may be useful to have the following
information to hand:
- The type of event you are interested in and the sort of performance required (e.g. Barn Dance/Ceilidh with English, Irish, Scottish and US mix of dance music and songs, or perhaps something with a predominantly Scottish Flavour... or even an evening of musical entertainment with no dancing....).
- The location and name of the intended venue (if known).
- The date and proposed start and finish times of the event.
- Any specific musical requests.
We will take your contact details, check availability and make any further arrangements
necessary prior to confirmation.
Whilst it is possible to make a provisional booking without all of the necessary information,
every effort should be made to furnish us with additional details such as timings etc. as soon
as they become available.
Please note that a 'firm booking' is subject to mutual agreement and final confirmation from us.
Thank you for your interest in The Wyvern Dance Band.
The band will usually require access to the venue at least an hour prior to the proposed
start of play for the purpose of setting up and performing a sound check. The band will
supply their own P.A. equipment.
A designated dry area (non public thoroughfare) in which to perform is essential, with lighting
adequate to read by and a mains electricity supply with standard 3 pin socket outlets.
A short refreshment break will be taken at around halfway through the event if the programme
lasts for more than a few hours.
