Welcome... You have arrived at The Wyvern Dance Band web site

The site is updated regularly - so remember to check from time to time to find out what we are up to!

The Wyvern Dance Band provides a lively mix of LIVE traditional folk music from various cultural sources including English, Scottish, Irish, European in general and the USA.  The music ranges from moving Airs and gentle Waltzes through easy listening and catchy sing-along tunes to fast and furious pieces guaranteed to get feet tapping and people dancing.

Collectively, the band has a wealth of experience spanning many years of playing traditional folk, country dancing, military and jazz  styles of music making them a versatile bunch of musicians.  A wide range of good traditional music is guaranteed and of course, the band has it's own experienced callers for barn dances.

The band is available to perform at social events throughout Southern England where good traditional music and 'a great time had by all' is the first priority.  Contact information is available at the base of the page and a booking enquiry form is provided for your convenience by following the appropriate menu link.

Please feel free to browse the site and if you require more information about the band and/or how we might be of service, please don't hesitate to get in touch for a chat.

Enjoy your visit.
